Active Essex Quest Review 2018
Active Essex approached KKExcel to support its Core Team and Board to work through the new bespoke Quest review process, with the aim of being externally recognised as one of the leading Active Partnerships in England.
KKExcel provided consultancy support in a number of areas including:
Briefing the core team and Board members on the new approach adopted by Quest and how it links to the wider Performance Management and Improvement Framework (PMIF).
Working closely with internally appointed Quest Champions to ensure the process is appropriately challenged and ownership is developed amongst the Active Essex core team.
Initially collating and analysing the results from Quest self-reflection surveys completed by staff and Board members and designing and delivering a bespoke team Quest Review workshop to achieve the following:
- Ensure the Quest review is informed by facts/figures, trend data and analysis
- Identify areas of strength and areas for improvement
- Identify and explain external stakeholder's interpretations of Active Essex's current position
- Set a baseline to be used for subsequent discussions about how Active Essex has improved
- Provide evidence of Active Essex's commitment to service improvement and its ability to improve and feed directly into a Service Improvement Plan, that will be signed off by the Board and shared with Sport England for discussion at the future 'round table meetings', once the findings of the Assesor have been considered.
Through the support provided by KKExcel, Active Essex has been able to develop a focused and systematic approach to improvement planning leading to greater efficiency, effectiveness and enhanced delivery.
