Standards for Safeguarding & Protecting Children in Sport

The safety of all children and young people whilst playing sport is a high priority for everyone within the leisure industry. Through the support provided to the five London Pro-Active Partnerships KKExcel developed a London-wide Child Protection policy which was adopted and shaped for the individual needs of each Partnership.

Support was also provided with the development of Child Protection Implementation plans to ensure that all of the Partnerships reached the Intermediate level of the national standards.
