Brent Martial Arts Development Plan

Commissioned by the London Borough of Brent, KKExcel took the lead in producing a borough-wide development plan, to provide a strategic framework for the various disciplines that fall within the area of Martial Arts.

By initially undertaking a comprehensive audit it was possible to identify current provision and levels of interest from local clubs/agencies that wanted to support the development of their martial art within the borough.

Following the audit process KKExcel undertook further consultation with all key stakeholders, using a range of methods appropriate to the differing groups engaged. The feedback gained informed the content of the borough-wide development plan and shaped the structure and membership of the "Development Steering Group", which now has a key role with the implementation of the plan and the long-term sustainability of Martial Arts across Brent.
