Web Portal - Data Audit
Active London Web portal Data Audit - London Region
Following the completion of a feasibility study for the proposed Active London Web Portal KKExcel were asked to take the project to its second phase by undertaking a Data Audit across the London Region. The aim of the Data Audit was to provide a:
- Comprehensive picture of data currently held on sport and physical activity opportunities across London
- Identify strengths and gaps in data held
- Identify any technical/compatibility barriers
- Ascertain partners commitment to the concept
- Document and log any functionality issues
The Data Audit involved all 33 London Boroughs and the Royal Parks, although an extensive area to cover through telephone interviews and using electronic methods to collate and aggregate the information, the findings were presented in a format that was easy to understand. The final Audit report provided Sport England (London Region) and the five Pro Active Partnerships with an extensive range of findings accompanied by a number of recommendations to assist them with progressing the project to phase three.
The initial work referenced above has subsequently led to supporting the production of the recently launched 'Get Active London' website, to view this site please click here
